My favourite special teddy’s name is Chihuahua. He is orange and cute. He makes a sound, “arrw, arrw.” He has a circle for his tummy and his head is an oval. He has a little ma ears. He has little arms and little legs. He is soft and cuddly. He catches my bad dreams and that’s why he is my favourite teddy. I love him and I sleep with him.   - Cate

 

My teddy is Koala Cat. He is grey and his nose is black. I play with him and with my other teddies. I love my Koala because he is cute and he has a baby koala. - Jamie

My teddy is called Blue Dog. He has got a friend and his friend is Sparky. Blue Dog hangs out on my bed. I love him. I have had him since I was a baby. - Kaea 

My teddy bears name is Brown Cat. He is furry. He is soft too. I like him because he can talk and he can walk too. He can run too. I have had him since I was a baby. - Cairo

My bear is called Goldy because he is gold with a gold ribbon and he is furry too. I sometimes sleep with him and sometimes he sits on my book shelf at the top. I have had him for six years and I love him. - Kayden

We are an Enviro School and we are always trying to think of ways to help the earth. An easy thing that we can do each day is to reduce the rubbsish in our lunch box. Well done to those people who are bringing litterless lunches to school!

More Special Readers

 We had two more special readers come in this week! Charlene and Heidi came and shared some more lovely stories with us for book week. 

Special Reader

Room B was very lucky to have a guest reader come in on Friday afternoon. Ian McKelvie came to read us a special book. We got to ask him a few questions about being Mayor and working with the Prime Minister. He told us that he loves to read in the car.

Book Swap

On Friday we all got to bring an old book from home, that we had read lots of times, to swap with someone elses old book. It was a great way for us to have something new to read. We were all so happy with the 'new' books we got to take home!

We are firewise!

Fireman David and Fireman Kevin came to visit us on Wednesday. They wanted to hear all about our Firewise learning. They were both very pleased with all the learning that we had done!

We got to ppractice what we would do in a fire by getting low and crawling under the smoke, we had to shout "fire, fire, fire!"

Art Exhibition

Today Room B and Room H walked together to the Art Exhibition! Some Feilding schools and kindergartens had displayed some of their beautiful art work. Some Room B people were VERY proud to see their art hanging there. It was great to see the big buddies looking out for their little buddies. Well done Room H.

Amazing certificates!

Wow Room B! You are amazing learners ... Look at all the certificates we got at Junior Assembly on Friday! We are very proud of all of you. 

"The sky is falling!"

Room B had a big treat last week. We got to watch a special play put on by two reading groups. It was called 'Chicken Licken'. We especially liked how the group used clear voices and kept their books down from their faces. They did a super job!

Guinea Pig Visitors

Cate and Samuel brought in two special visitors last monday. Their big brother's pet guinea pigs. Two reading groups had just read about how to look after these animals, so they were very excited to get to meet some. Room B people are guinea pig experts now!
